Who we are

Dr Mark Shirran graduated in medicine from the University of London in 2001. He moved to Australia in 2004, where he completed his specialist training. He is now a Senior Staff Specialist in Emergency, Pre-hospital and Retrieval Medicine at Queensland Health, working at the Gold Coast University Hospital and as a Senior Medical Co-ordinator and Ambulance Medical Officer with Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS.) During his training he gained experience working on fixed-wing and rotary platforms, both in the UK and Australia, including London's Air Ambulance HEMS, Essex & Herts HEMS, CareFlight, RFDS and QAS.

Mark has now joined Elroy AirMed and is excited to use his extensive experience to lead our operations in the Australasia/South Pacific region.
