Now that I am safely home, I just want to mention that the, the paramedic who accompanied me from Marrakech to Sydney. What a wonderful young man! How competent, confident, non-confrontational, charming. He guided me in and out of various difficult, possibly sticky, situations.
From the moment your company, Elroy AirMed, was involved, our situation improved and we knew everything that was happening. The organisation process was smooth and we were kept informed throughout when you introduced yourself and your team. The Elroy Paramedic, well what can I say, she was friendly, caring, professional and nothing was a bother for her. She made the trip home enjoyable and I always felt supported and cared for. She always put me first in every situation, reassured me and made sure she had my needs met.
I have nothing but the most positive of feedback for both the Elroy doctor and paramedic. The whole experience was great with both them & your whole team; and the level of professionalism and care that was shown to my parents was amazing. As you said, the experience in Italy was very unpleasant for both of them, particularly Mum. To see her smiling during the trip home and just to hear how confident she was both whilst travelling in their care and after seeing them the night before department was very comforting.
I am full of praise for your management team and our exceptional companion. The efficiency, speed and compassion for our circumstances gave us hope. Up until your initial contact I despaired we would ever get home. We seemed to be stuck in a holding pattern, getting nowhere. Not long after meeting the Elroy paramedic, I felt here we have someone who genuinely wanted to get us out of the clinic and home. He is confident and competent and a compassionate human being.
I found the Elroy Doctor manner was very caring, down to earth, compassionate and of course professional. He delivered me to my family safely and with a smile on his face. The Security professional was there with the doctor on the arrival to the hospital and travelled with me to Kilimanjaro. I felt comfortable with both of them. Lastly but not least, the drivers of the 4wd’s were very careful drivers, considered of my condition and provided rest stops for me throughout the 3.5 hour drive. I can’t thank you, Elroy and of course the Critical Care Paramedic enough. Without your team and service, we would have lost mum in Southern Europe. Since Elroy clinicians arrived last Thursday it has been full steam ahead. I have to say that they are two of the most incredible, compassionate and dedicated people I have ever met.
I would like to thank you for your organizational skills in getting me to my destination in Melbourne. I cannot fault you in any way and will be eternally grateful. The Elroy nurse was my tower of strength both mentally and physically. He is very knowledgeable of ones needs not just medically. He inspired me to keep going and be positive.
In relation to feedback regarding your company and the Elroy paramedic especially, we both have only praise to give you. Elroy kept me up to date with information in a prompt and professional manner and helped a great deal when I was over in Turkey, the Elroy paramedic what can I say, as soon as we met him at the pre flight assessment she relaxed completely knowing she had a competent, professional and friendly person to assist us home.
He projected a calm assured and easy manner with us, even whilst I knew he was constantly communicating with his offices and the airlines when we had schedule difficulties and he was trying to pre-empt any issues. Of course it helped that he happened to be a nice guy.
OMGoodness. How do I rate the service 100 out of 10? I will write properly and send a photo very soon but rest assured your team were outstanding. The peace of mind afforded to us all, knowing [patient] would be in good hands if she suffered any medical episodes during the long journey home was absolutely priceless. The Elroy doctor and paramedic are 2 of the best. I’m sorry we met under the circumstances which we did but am so grateful knowing there are people like them in the world making it a better place.
I just wanted to follow up with you following this very difficult repatriation from India. The receipt of the customer care records immediately after any mission in such a timely manner was excellent, as was the calibre of the documentation. The attention to detail and explanation of care to the customer and documentation of same was extremely high level, including pressure area care. We were also impressed with your team members consideration of comfort including a magazine which I am sure would have helped with managing any anxiety ahead of the mission. It is the small details which set us apart from competitors and show teams going that extra mile.
